Product Design: PerformX
As Senior UX Architect on the product development team, I was responsible for the overall user experience of PerformX, a platform for managing corporate Incentive & Recognition programs.
Since its launch in 2019, PerformX has been adopted by multiple Fortune 500 companies in the finance, insurance and automotive industries.

- Requirements gathering
I designed the mobile-first responsive front end for the Participant Dashboard, and the highly complex Admin Interfaces.
Working with various client SMEs and business analysts in an agile scrum environment, I developed personas, user journeys, mockups, and helped define the requirements of the product’s primary user-facing features.
I spearheaded the adoption of a design system to operationalize UI design and increase the efficiency of Front End Dev and QA. I also coordinated UX designers assigned to individual client instances to ensure consistency with the core product.
The Participant Dashboard
A program participant's view of PerformX is a dynamic dashboard that shows easily consumable, high-level progress and earnings data for all the incentives an individual is participating in.
It also provides quick access to in-depth performance metrics, historical data, communications, and detailed program rules.
After the MVP release, I was tasked with creating an approach and designs for all UI modifications necessary for a mobile-first design.
While PerformX was built for responsive design, many of its initial features were based on desktop-specific patterns, which resulted in some performance issues and limited flexibility for future design improvements. This was not a problem for the administrative interfaces, but hindered our ability to meet users' expectations of a modern mobile experience.
In addition to adjusting layout details of the UI, this effort impacted many user journeys, as well as the site topology and navigation strategy.

The Admin Interfaces
I worked side-by-side with business analysts and system architects to design the dynamic setup wizard used to manage the system.
Complex and varied workflows are required to configure the business rules and content for each promotion.
